The week of the Shortbread . . .
Last week was all about precision and following a recipe. This week, was all about going back to letting their creative juices flow. Think stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new. There's was no right or wrong here. Just to have fun and decorate some delicious biscuits however our bakers would like.
In their boxes, they received 6 homemade shortbread biscuits, an assortment of fondant decorations, icing and some sprinkles.

Our Baker of the Week is Ella. Although the youngest member of this years summer club, Ella showed off her decorative skills, creativity and control (that is piping control and control not to eat the shortbread before she was finished!).
At just 2 years old, Ella has proven that baking is for all ages. Whether you are learning how to bake the perfect cake or how to control the piping bag when decorating a cookie, each skill brings you closer to being a brilliant baker. Well done Baker Ella!
Next week, we will be decorating triple chocolate brownie traybakes. Who will be our next Baker of the Week?
